Welcome to Tech-node.org. We are a group located in middle Georgia that is working on starting a hacker space for the area. One of the ways we are working toward this goal are our quarterly Gaming event fund raisers. Here you will be able to get all the info you need to attend an event or support us in our efforts. The site is as always a work in progress but if you have any questions feel free to head to the forums and ask.

July 23rd Event Info

It's time again for the Tech-Node LAN Party Gaming Extravaganza and whatnot. We will be holding it at the same location as last time for those who were there. As always this is an event for both PC and CONSOLE Gamers. We have separate areas for each group to setup their gear and compete against your friends old and new. Check out the info below and the FAQ for the event details. We will be having door prize drawings, tournaments, and mini games throughout the evening. Hope to see you there.

Dates:

  • July 23rd, 2011
  • Check-in starts at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday (7/23/2011)
  • Doors close for tear-down at 10 AM on Sunday (7/24/2011)

Entry Fee:

  • $20 at the door. We accept Paypal and cash. Every paid entry fee will receive a ticket for the door prize drawings.

Competitions / Prizes:

  • Right now the details of tournaments and prizes are still TBA
  • We have several sponsors lined up with prizes and usually have cash tournaments as well.
  • Will be releasing details about the tourny prizes as the event draws closer.
  • As always we have door prize drawings along with the competition prizes.
  • Check out our photo gallery of past events to see some of our prizes.

Game Tournaments:

  • Elliot at Flashover Games will be running our tournament brackets this time around.
  • Which games we will be having organized tournaments is TBD
  • Halo reach is always one our biggest events so check out the forums for news on that.
  • Would like to run COD and Starcraft 2 events as well depending on interest.
